En Ardbeg endast såld i Sverige. Andra fat har sålts till Danmark, Tyskland, Belgien, Frankrike, Italien och England. De har då kostat det dubbla mot priset i Sverige. Köpte 2 flaskor och sålde den ena i andelar på whiskyforum. Dock till priset av 3500 för flaskan.
En underbar Ardbeg! Marsipan, rök och annat gott i en fantastisk blandning. Den danska utgåvan var dock ytterligare lite bättre. Min poäng: 93 p

Colour: Deep golden
Nose:At full strength, the aroma is intensely sweet and rich, reminiscent of a box of chocolates with fruit and nut centres - coffee and orange creams, toffee, brazil nuts and rum and raisin are all discovered encased in chocolate.
With water, herbs and spices emerge from beneath the fruit and nut chocolate mix, bringing coriander and cardamom, hints of thyme, and sherbert limes fizzing in the background. The chocolate has now had a double dose of cream and orange cream now becomes more noticeable.
Taste: Full and instantly warming, the mouth-feel is gently tingly as the spices come into play. The taste is of ground coffee with simmering spices, in particular nutmeg, coriander, and ginger with a hint of cloves and a sprig of thyme in the background. Nuts are never far behind with brazil nuts and almonds into the finish. Traces of fruit are discovered at the sides of the palate with orange peel and grapefruit.
Finish: Long with ground nutmeg, almonds, coffe and spices.
