| Bowmore 17yo (43%, OB, Bottled +/- 1999, no code, 70cl) - 84 points Nose: Not as honest about its Islay heritage as younger versions. Smoke. Quite light and clean. Some menthol after a while. Taste: Ah - there's the Islay peaty burn! The taste is much like that of the 12yo - but more refined and balanced. |
