Canto Cask 10 is part of a Compass Box range of single cask, cask-strength Scotch malt whiskies.

Cask 10 was chosen by David Larsson and Tommy Seilen from Qualityworld, Denmark, during their visit to Compass Box in May 2007. Several casks were tasted and evaluated under John Glaser's close supervision and, after several hours, David and Tommy finally found perfection!

Each cask in the Canto Cask range is unique, each made in one of five different oak-toast combinations. This cask was made with new French oak heads that received a very long, proprietary toasting (level 4 in our scale) to bring out rich, toasty and spice-like flavours.

A canto is one of the major divisions of a long poem. Each cask in the Canto Cask range is a different element of an overall idea, just as a canto within a poem. This bottle is one of 254 from Canto Cask 10.
