The ancient Ginkgo tree is believed to date back 150 million years. It has been cherished for its medicinal qualities for centuries. The Ginkgo is often found planted around temple grounds in Japan, Korea and China. As a species it is biologically unique, with its own classification.

Ginkgo Blended Malt Whisky is also unique. Whisky has been distilled in Japan since 1923 but is very unusual to find a blend containing whiskies from different producers.

Ginkgo contains single malts from a selection of Japan's whisky distilleries blended together by Ichiro Akuto.
Its intriguingly complex nose and spicy palate make Ginkgo an ideal accompaniment to Japanese and other Asian foods.
