Inga This Glen Grant has an attractively oaked nose (reminiscent of a carpenter´s wood shop) with a malty, richly spiced and fruity myriad of olfactory quality behind that, thanks to its Sherry cask maturation. The heavy, oily body opens to reveal a gentle palate of ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg, which soon develops into a rich, mouth coatingly spiced fructiferousness and oakiness with hints of vanilla toffe on the late palate. The finish is rich, with flashes of orange pith, becoming dry smoked and mentholated.
