Inga Comments: A Port Ellen that is complimented by a taste, that gives a much more youthful impression than the 24 years of maturing.
Tasting notes: The nose starts with smoke and peat, then strong influence of lemon and grapefruit ending with a big bite of peber. Also a hint of resin. In the mouth, it has a nice soft sweetness followed by some peberish mouthfeel mixed with fresh citrus. The smoke starts very silently but suddenly explodes changing the taste towards more herbal and dried fruits notes. The finish is very peaty and dry with some citrus in it as well.
