Blev så imponerad av Madeira Wooden som kom 2009, så jag frågade Springbank om de inte hade fler Madeira fat. Det hade de. Jag valde ut det här fatet för Sverige. Min poäng: ?? p

Nose: Like a caribbean holiday with lots of tropical fruits. Mango, grapefruit, pineapple and some beautiful sweetness. As time goes by some richer armoas of rhubarbs, apricot and strawberries are revealed as notes of vanilla and meringue linger.
Palate: Onve again fruit is to the fore. Stewed pears, raisins, a little liquorice. Some nice ground spices complement the abundant sweetness. A particulary delivate and complex Springbank as the natural character of the whisky and the full flavours from the Madeira cask combine to wonderful effect.
